Ehh this is typical in these types of 1v1 drills. No safety help. Receiver is basically doing whatever the hell he wants with no pass rush. WR gets ever advantage in this drill.

An example of this is Eric Stokes getting burned all training camp by a 4th round rookie. Stokes had a breakout rookie year and put up some All Pro level stats, runs a 4.2 40.. and he still can get cooked on these types of drills by a rook

Yeah I mean its astounding that this thread is on page 3 but nobody seems to realize that the corner is going against a receiver on their own team and thus isn't going to be nearly as physical with him as they are with a receiver on another team in a real football game cause they aren't trying to injure a teammate, so of course they going to get cooked alot when they going out of their way to not jam up a receiver but the coli going to coli.

Whole thread in here about Diggs getting cooked but he was literally locking James Washington up and broke his fukking foot so now he out half the year but people in here like "Diggs getting toasted he not sticking with the receiver". Gee I wonder if him already breaking a teammates foot has anything to do with it.
