I won't blindly defend him, but I'll try and be fair. Unlike some people who act as though he's below 50% completiom and more Ints than tuddies. Those are indications of bad qbs imo.

I'm hard on him myself personally I think he's too long and gangly. Not a runn8ng qb which is what's popular now. But I've seen bad qbs in my time.

As far as him waving the coach off, it wasn't really him waving him off. It was the coach saying hit him in the body, and in the heat of battle TL saying "maaaan im not trying hear that right now im doing best i can". Aye that happens. But it shows me it's been a conversation they've been having about his accuracy.

I only show up in defense here because he's treated as if the sky is falling.

The problem with the QB position by the public and media is if you're not top 5, then you're absolute trash. I've seen nikkas on here really say that Justin Herbert is trash..

I recognize his flaws but I also recognize that he's someone you can win with.

An old writer for the jags a long time ago said the fan base was spoiled by good QB play. This was during the Garrard years. Shortly after that we drafted Blaine Gabbert. History has shown most teams struggle with finding even average QB play.
