I'm convinced the NFL is fixed.

Last year you had 1.5 Black QBs in the Super Bowl (gonna round up to 2.0).

Eagles with their anti-Trump stance won the ring and we saw a Black QB with a team of Black female lawyers, agents etc., hug & kiss his Black wife on TV after Kendrick Lamar put on the Blackest SB halftime show ever.

This year we got Bo Nix, Drake Maye, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Sunshine, A-Aron.....with GOAT Mahomes down and the Chiefs needing a rebuild, that AFC is open.

We either getting a Race War SuperBowl (Hurts/Caleb versus AFC Champ) or a Restore White Pride SB (Stafford vs AFC Champ).

I think the league and white people REALLY want Mr. Steinfield to get him a ring, so they can finally push him ahead of Lamar. Ravens gave that game away. I went to walk my dog when it was 24-21 Ravens and knew by the time I got back, New England would have the lead and be in position to close it out.

It’s weird yall are praising him for putting up Alex smith numbers :skip:
He’s still inaccurate and middle of the pack
Actually, he’s putting up worse numbers than some of Alex smith best years. No clue why people are bumping this thread giving him praise like he’s elite or great.

He's been playing some great ball and has done so against an elite defense most recently, despite many in here claiming that he is straight azz and his team needs to give up on him. That's why the thread was bumped.

But I get it, you need to act fake perplexed and flabbergasted like you dont know how to read previous pages in a thread.

Literally Alex smith trajectory, none of it is generational so nothing has changed as far as I’m concerned. Go cry to them :yeshrug:

He's definitely played significantly better this year than in years past, especially his play the past two months. I've been able to watch a good amount of the Jaguars the last few years because I've been dumb enough to keep betting on Trevor Lawrence, and he has been much better.

He's taking off and using his legs when he needs to, making more accurate throws, reading the defense better, and not looking like a deer in the headlights. Not saying he's elite right now or will be a top 3-5 QB, but I think you are seeing his raw talent start to show.

Ask a question then catch an attitude when the question gets answered

Go start a thread for Alex Smith Stans or whatever the fxck :mjlol:
I’m crying by stating he’s still not generational and has Alex smith trajectory? :skip:

he has played some terrible teams the last several weeks so i'm not giving him any props even tho his performance against the broncos was definitely impressive. i need to see it happen more often and consistently. if he plays well in the playoffs and does it next year then i'll say he has turned the corner.

until then he is a mid QB who doesn't get criticized much because he plays in jacksonville and no one pays attention to that team.

So the questions become is Trevor good now or is Denver overrated? People be pulling out the “but it’s the Raiders, Browns, etc” card when they play well but if they suck against those same teams, it’s time to :camby: Man these quarterbacks are too damn inconsistent now, man Jacksonville could let Trevor walk and he end up being Payton/ Manning level on another team. These teams need to learn how to develop who they have instead of letting them go to other teams to shine. This is how you end up like the Jets or the Browns, going through quarterbacks every year smh.

How is he inaccurate? Are you judging purely off completion percentage or are you watching games?

Alex Smith was incapable of ever playing to this level or maybe I should say, it was coached out of him possibly.

So him beating the 49ers on the road, the Texans, blowing out the Chargers, and the Chiefs didn't happen?

no one is excusing his coaching situation. urban meyer set that franchise back but i'm not gonna praise lawrence or give him a pass for his past bad seasons when he's playing well against bottom of the barrel teams. if he can play well in the playoffs and next season then i'll give him his flowers. he was the #1 pick and got paid top QB money so he better produce....he threw for over 300 yards once this year....liam cohen is doing a good job not putting the game on his shoulders and that's helping lawrence to not turn the ball over.

everyone is so quick to praise mid QB performance that they give them the bag and set their franchise back 3-5 years if it fails.

the only win that impressed me from that list is the 9ers and lawrence didn't do much to win that game. not something he should tip his hat on.

the texans from the start of the season to now are a different team and i would bet the texans beat the jags in a playoff matchup if they meet.

1. I don’t get why people make these threads after 1 year in the league like they don’t know that historically qbs take a few years to develop. And it takes a few years to develop a team that is the worst team in the league.

2. Statistically he’s not much better than he was in his second season, but he’s more clutch, which is the most important in this game of margins. And obviously the team is overall better
