There was a point where they were building a long TV title chase for Ricky Starks trying to get the belt back from Zicky Dice and to a Kingston/Pope match after Pope found as many goons as possible to try to beat Kingston.

Then the pandemic happened and AEW actually paid Starks and Kingston.
