So the XB1 being used a to its ability hasn't even begun yet. By Xmas, everything will be straight
Direct X 11.2 hasn't even dropped. tiled resources. Then Direct X 12 at the end of the year
All of that will make XB1 MORE POWERFUL than the PS4.

Actually my point is in regards to Devs... not console specific. They have been getting lazy.
hell yes, the last Trials mighta been my favorite game of that year
Of course it is... Remember Cerny was going to use EDram but said the development time would be longer. The lessons we can learn is that 1. They are just scratching the surface of both consoles. 2. That Esram is going to make some classics.

What Microsofts stance on what the XB1 is capable of? Well, first it starts with the drivers and system updates
Its a well known fact the XB1 shyt isn't up to par, and its well known that it will be buku beyond par VERY SOON.
That alone would make both systems "comparable" in ability, with the PS4 edging it out on overall ability
Thats doing things the normal ways things are done (PC)
In previous gens, sony always would create a new way of making games (Emotion engine ps2, Cell PS3)
And once they figured out how to use those systems strengths, the results were the types of games you guys lusted after like TheLastofUs
This gen, sony made it simple to develop for, and put emphasis on raw POWER!
So out the box, its a bad boy. And will get better in time. Its ceiling is already in sight cuz its basically an outdated PC
The XB1 isn't just a PC that can run Direct X 11 & HIGHER (which PS4 cannot) But it also has its own quirky way of creating games
You know, just like the Emotion Engine

They had a beta for BF4 a year before it launched. Thats not what lazy devs do.

They have nearly identical hardware, with Xbox hardware being more capable (compatible with Direct X)
Memory is identical as well, but xbox has a different method of how it moves memory
What you continuously ignore is how the xbox memory will work in the future, once devs learn to take advantage of it
Then what Direct X.12 can do, it can make a weaker platform play and games that otherwise wouldn't be able to run on that platform.
Basically making a low end PC capable of running high end PC gaming.
They have only said this since day one. You just blindly go "I didn't read
