This game is the shyt. It has a great story. I'm enjoying this as much as Elden Ring. 
Bought this last month and finally started because it's just too damn hot to cut that PS5 on 
I just reached chapter 6...this shyt is deeper than rap
These mock missions are great for leveling up and figuring out strategies. I recruited the clown girl and her decoy ability is actually pretty dope. And once you start getting passive abilities

and yeah, i did not respect clown girl at all to begin with. on hard/NG+? she is the glue

Some of the later mock missions maps are more fun than the actual story maps

Yeah, I expected more agency but not only the choices are few and far between, they feel very contrived and make no sense so far. Feels like the characters and your party are being written in the corner to force certain situations out and they come off as stupid as a result.
Chapter 6 and on is just choosing what L you think you can takeI gave Roland up.
I put the people first before a war and even Roland saw that. Besides, those rumored traps that the land had hidden might put the people in jeopardy.

I just beat this. Really couldn't have been any better. Only complaint is the switch struggle resolution. But that ain't the games fault. 
Gameplay was perfect. I loved the story. It was good and kinda deep but not confusing. Character upgrades were kinda light but that's ok cause they gave you a dope diverse cast.

Medina was low key the most fun to use.
Frederica a real one. Even tryna learn how to cook for her man.
