Regardless, I can’t see bringing 10 lives into the world that I know I can’t take care of and put them in equally dysfunctional circumstances. 1 or 2, ok I give her the benefit of the doubt - psychological issues etc but then she decides to fuk with 8 different men during the course of that time to have 8 additional kids...dude after dude running through your mom and leaving her; you heard him say he was selling water on the side of the road - bc she wanted to a temporary sexual fix. No justification for that. That’s chaos and irresponsibility. I don’t bring no one around my kids - so the fact that she didn’t care to have a constant rotation of men in and out, that had to contribute to some type of mental decline. Breeding ground for instability.

The word "decline" would infer that there was some sort of regression - but something can't fall off if it was never there in the first place. That's the ultimate point of what Trick was bringing out. Black folks never had a point in the history of this country where we were (correctly) collectively educated about these affairs. And on top of that, we were given incentives to not know/do better.

Welfare benefits rarely dwarf the salary of even your average Black man :mjlol:
Now if the woman has like 5 kids, two of which have severe disabilities, while living in San Francisco, then maybe she's receiving like $45-50k in benefits, but that's a pretty absurd scenario that doesn't represent a micro percentage of welfare receipients.

What REALLY happens is that his mother was likely sexually abused and had some mental health issues, in conjunction with her hyper-poverty and depression.

If we are talking about people that qualify for public housing a single income home is going to be more beneficial. Cheaper rent more access to food stamps and other programs
