How would bigrod know what's going on in the streets?I'm gonna just say this without any knowledge (and when I say that, I really mean that) but I'd guess that most people in this thread don't even know what the fukk is going on
I just remember @bigrodthe1 saying some years ago that Trick Trick is a normal dude who isn't doing that much "gangsta" shyt in Detroit like that
plus some weeks ago I saw an interview where Royce da 5'9's brother Kid Vishis was saying that there wasn't really any issues between Ross & Trick Trick and the whole situation had more to do with the radio station than Trick Trick
and to people complaining that Trick Trick doesn't do shyt for people I'd just suggest following him on twitter,I mean I've seen him out there encouraging people to vote and all types of more positive shyt. And even if everything people are saying about him is true, he's definitely not just trying to stop people from eating or just talking about dumb or negative shyt.
and again, I don't really know shyt about anything, all this is coming from a hip hop fan who has just followed Trick Trick's rap career for some years now
which is funny because I said that "saving" detroit isn't a useful investment of our energy based on PAST glory is just a waste of time....and I got tons of shyt for it.

The 313 showed me a lotta love when I rocked a show out there breh. Had artists from out that way that I've worked wit at the venue watchin my set n all that. I fukk wit Detroit heavy. Walkin thru the city tho u know that shyt grimey as fukk... alotta burned down buildings. It look like downtown Miami except... with burned down buildings lol. U know how it go tho, real cats gone get respect wherever they roll.

what part of the city were you walking through? or which venue rather? downtown detroit looks way better than downtown miami though. i did notice a lot of similarities with surrounding areas of both cities when i passed through miami to get to south beach a while back.

I think it's because he cares so much about how real he, his city, and him in his city appear, instead of caring about the actual city. There's people with less pull out there taking small steps to work towards something good and instead he wants to prevent a show in his city which would bring some, albeit probably a small amount, of revenue in.

I just remember walkin down Vernor Street to get grub and look at all the graffiti while my car was gettin worked on (A/C had blown 2 shows previous). My old rap group was on a national tour so I dont remember what venue it was. I could prolly google it if I wanted to lol. Wasn't a huge spot, it was a straight underground tour wit all indie artists.
