Yea I remember I got lost in the woods once. I wasn't hiking per se I was just 17 trying to enjoy nature and smoke a few blunts I had rolled. After about 50 minutes in I was too high and got paranoid so I started to head back. I then heard some shyt run through the woods on my right moving frantically. I took off running, only problem is I didn't know where to go so I ended up running deeper into the woods. At some point I stumbled upon an open field area that had been cleared out for disc golf. Nobody was playing and trees were hovering over me. I felt vulnerable as hell. Imagine being on a basketball-cpurt sized patch of land with tall as trees hovering over you in every direction. Didn't know where to go. Must've been out there for hours.

Don't do that no more breh :heh: That was deadass how the stories started for all the missing hikers I was watching on Youtube. They got lost, couldn't find their way back and instead of sitting still, they went deeper and deeper into the woods, eventually with troopers finding their bodies months or years later. I was in a small park but, it was still creepy. I can only imagine being in a big ass national park like Yellowstone or Mt. Rainer. Its like 1000 miles of forest and shyt. You'd be walking around for days :mjcry:

I got home and start googling about hiking and found myself on YouTube eventually watching videos on missing hikers. It’s a whole thing. Muthafukkas going missing every other week :damn:

These poor girls got did so dirty :mjcry:

Did you hike alone first time??? :heh:

I wouldn’t ever hike alone unless I knew the trail, it was pretty busy, and other people hiked on it too.

Shyt more often than not those weird ass hiking cacs you run into would at least tell you what to look out for and how the trail is

Also wouldn’t hike without a backpack with emergency supplies just in case

Fukk allat shyt

IMO it's important to get outside as much as you can. It helps you get out of the mindset that everything has to be perfectly clean an manicured. Sounds silly, but walking outside with occasional bugs, obstacles in your way, overgrown paths and spider webs and whatnot is therapeutical to me

It was my first time :mjcry:

I felt more comfortable being in Baltimore or SE D.C. than out in the wilderness alone :damn:
