Californ-i-a by way of BK
the doctor doolitle soundtrack had some joints. the days when the soundtracks were more appealing than the movies..well for me.

I miss the days when the song that was part of the soundtrack to a movie, incorporated parts of the movie into the music video.

Fun fact: Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger are the only rappers to beef with M.O.P.

They had the "How about some hardcore jam swinger" and some how Lil Fame took it as a diss

So on M.O.P.'s "World Famous" Lil Fame says: "I'm out spoken, fukk a nikka Language that's Broken, record labels need to stop that wack shyt they be promotin"

Then Smoothe sent some shots back on "Murderfest" and "Broken Language Part 2"

But they from the same hood, and know the same people (shyt they damn near came up in rap together, cause they'd be in the studio with each other and everything) so it was squashed cause it was just a misunderstanding.

:ehh:

Interesting.

Props.

What happened to that thread full of random hiphop facts like this?

i always thought ruck n rock were the best duo until i heard smoothe and trigger. i've been wanting to hear their unreleased diss to epmd for the longest. i hinted to that one dude on sohh but i don't think anyone ever got the goods? supposedly he was the same one that leaked lifes a 50/50 gamble which was a pretty good album but wasn't fukking with smoothes debut. that was one of those highly overlooked 90's albums. damn near perfect mcing and production combo. smoothe has released those violent times mixtapes but i don't think trigger has done anything since the smg album(which was a huge disappointment)
this was a dope track from violent times day:

speaking of trigger, heltah skeltah and one half of epmd(trigger rips this)
