I’m on the 4th episode now but the “fukk School” episode had me hot when he told that lil black kid that he will never be president and said that his dreams are too high. Just shytting on a youth’s dreams like that isn’t cool with me..

That shyt infuriated me cuz Killer Mike thinks he is the smartest person in the room when really he comes off like a narrcistic a$$hole.

the school one is intriguing, like I see where he's coming from, but at the same time crushing kids dreams is :mindblown:...can't ruin innocence like that
I just turned it off. Up here saying you not gonna be president. How about a carpenter? I'll finish this series later today.

The vocational job/porn episode was dumb as shyt. It started good with the critique of the American educational system but diverted into some weirdo shyt.

That Jamma girl tho :ohlawd:

Turn that shyt off once the gay shyt came on come on my nikka. And Mike gotta lose weight god damn.

Haven't seen that episode yet but that sounds unnecessary. He literally doesn't know what the boy's potential is so why put a cap on it at an early age? If he thinks he can become president then let him. That little boy will either let Mike's words break him or he will use what he said as motivation.

I haven't seen the episode, so don't kill me. But what you all are describing sounds like a remix of when that white teacher told Malcolm X he couldn't be a lawyer, so he should try being a carpenter. Are we 100% sure Killer Mike wasn't just reenacting that Malcolm X moment, on purpose?

Yeah I think I’m signing out on this after that episode

How can you tell a little black kid he won’t be a president, he should be a carpenter or fix sinks?

This is typical small minded black mentality

Nope. He’s shytting on the whole idea.

Pushing the trade stuff as primary curriculum

I didn't take it that seriously, I think he was just trying to prove a point to the audience that there should be nothing wrong with having a regular ass job. The whole setup was kinda silly&not that serious imo. Now, if he had actually made the point to a group of older people (which he kinda did when talking to the other group) it would've made more sense but would not have been as provocative

And Mike gotta lose weight god damn.

He actually talked about working out and losing weight on Rogan's podcast recently. I think he said he already lost 35 pounds. Seemed like he's taking working out/losing weight somewhat seriously.

He makes a lot of valid points...Obviously keeping the dollars black and ONLY supporting black owned business is nearly impossible (who made the cameras they filmed with? The chairs they sat on? Etc. etc.) but he makes a strong point that everyone in the community needs to keep their dollars in their community. Jews, Italians and newer immigrant communities stay doing this.
