There are several different form of yogas not just thia which is mostly asanas (postures). There's yoga which involves reading, music and etc.

Try acrobatic yoga. I prefer to meditate instead of doing that deep breathing spend 15 minutes while in a twisted position yoga. I tried Vinyasa yoga and I hated it . I like acrobatic yoga because it challenges your body physically. I really want to get more into it this fall.

Do you know the origins of yoga, like how it came into being?. There was an interview with this lady on NPR who did a book on this Russian lady who took various aspects of Indian practices, that she eventually persuaded priests to give to her and "created" yoga......she hung out with Hollywood folks/Aristocrats in the 1920s or 30s and they begin to go to her studio....and some other stuff happened
....but the interview is good...see if I can find it from a few few weeks back.
