Trillburger opens a drive through and the lines are blocks down the street. What's the longest you have waited for food?

Waited an hour for the chicken sandwich at Popeyes. Also, like someone else said, I done spent a few nights/early mornings waiting for Whataburger and Checkers. Damn, Checkers is always slow as hell.

Checkers is WORTH it frfr...:wow:

It’s not even buns idea it’s one of those private groups that hooked up with bun for branding.

“The menu at the Montrose-area restaurant, created by chefs Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares”

"I've been lucky to open more than a dozen fast-casual concepts, and nothing surpasses the love I have seen for Trill Burgers," said restaurateur Andy Nguyen, another co-owner.

So they just paying Bun to use his name for marketing. :dead:

T. blacks is cool. It seems a bit King Ranch edition, rather than broken down F150 that still gets the job done.

The ones in Austin that impressed me the most

1) Mickelthwait
2) Stiles Switch?

#1 was and is a hypebeast, but Stiles seemed to be for actual locals
Dope, Imma have to check out Stiles I haven’t heard of em. :ehh:

this shyt making it to cali?

Bruh it more than likely a 80/20 Chuck blend with salt pepper garlic. Just get a Smashburger unless you that hard up for a special sauce aka mayo + paprika. :why:

It’s just a smash burger on a grilled lightly buttered potato bun. I couldn’t do it. Waiting 4 hours for some burgers and fries. At that point go to the store get you some 75% lean and 25% fat ground beef, a cast iron skillet and something to smash the burger balls to thin patties. I use parchment paper and a coffee mug to smash mine. When you done wipe the excess grease and toast the buns. Quick and easy take like 20 minutes.

Americans really love waiting in line, last time I was in NY there were lines at fukking Chipotle, not to mention the lines at coffee shops in the morning, like nikka just make your own fukking coffee instead of waiting in the sun for 30 mins like an a$$hole.

4 Hours -Franklin BBQ Austin TX

The brisket was good (a bit soft for my tastes, even the bark), but not 4 hours good.

3 hours in NYC Heat - Di Fara's Pizza, BKNY - Back when ol boy was still alive.

Totally worth it.
I waited 30 minutes at di fara's once for a regular slice instead of just taking a square. Never again. I just order that shyt on uber eats now.

Waited 90 minutes for a trendy ramen restaurant in Manhattan. It wasn't nearly as good as my usual spots. Hipsters and cacs loved the place but it was too bland to me.

Now we need to know who these owners are. :patrice:

Trill Burgers—co-owned with Bernie Freeman (Bun B), restaurateur Andy Nguyen, chefs Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares, and publicist Nick Scurfield

From the article someone posted Nguyen, Pham, and Villadares had the idea and they brought in Bun. What his ownership stake is we don't know.

They have attended events for black owned businesses though. Not sure how I feel about that.
