I understand what’s going on today but listening to what she said what is the problem. Yes it terrible how the police kill niccas but she got personal issues with her brother getting killed and not by the cops. I don’t give a chit about the looting personally but she states she has a friend with a small business that got ran thru. Yeah she got insurance but who knows how long that can take to get paid or because the owner is black will she get paid and will it be enough.

Because looting is not the main issue. Is it happening, of course, but that shouldn't be the focus. Sorry for her friend's business but this is so much bigger than that right now, it's not even worth discussing.

You're literally missing the entire point of the cause if your focus is on looting. Like I said, there will always be people who take advantage of the chaos, but that shouldn't be the focus. All focus should be on the reason for the protest. You're watching the news and you're being brain washed into thinking it's complete mayhem in the streets when it's really a select few people. And it's almost uniformly started by police and MAGA people. If people start breaking into homes, it's not going to be protestors, it's going to be people who wanted to break into homes to begin with. Don't go spreading that narrative that those two are interconnected because they're not.

I don't give a fukk about Target, AT&T, Nordstrom, Niketown, etc...being burned down. fukk them businesses. Small businesses getting torn down, I don't agree with, and that's unfortunate but that's not important to what's really happening. Businesses getting looted and burned (again, by a small group of people), should never be the talking point when it comes to people legit being KILLED by police. It's not even in the same stratosphere.

And sorry to Trina losing her brother to violence, that's really sad, but that's literally is a separate issue and has nothing to do with this. You know what happens when a black man kills another black man? They got to prison, for LIFE. You know what happens when a cop kills a black man? If you're talking about LAHH, I agree.

If we're talking about scripted shows that portray them in that light, it's because they don't have many options. Black actors as a whole have very few roles in Hollywood, and it gets even smaller for black women. If they want to survive in the field, they have to take roles that are available. Until the people in control of TV, movies, media change, it will pretty much always be like that.
