Skate culture and hardcore punk also rocked the camo concurrent with hip hop. It wasn't strictly some NYC rap thing.
I was there and knew skate kids or punk rockers. They did not rock army coats like hip hop people did in nyc. Some of the skate kids were hip hop heads anyway. I dont think yall understand army coats was not just a small group, A LOT of people wore them. Bootcamp click were the first to really rep how brooklyn people really looked in 92/93. The video I got ya open is how we looked in the winter. The same as bucktown by smif n wessun

yep.. that camo wave didnt catch on in other music since til the early 00's. they were dressing like this in the 90s lol i loved that new york rappers were wearin camo.. i thought it was cool as fukk when i discovered smif n wessun and killarmy
