what shes saying is ingrained in truth somewhat but she didnt offer any real solutions.

she just basically ranted because i take it she doesn't like lyricists

shes talking "rapper" this and that but the only semblance of insight i read was "play the game" and have a nice image so you can have a quick hit and party with Jay-Z in VIP

it sounds likes shes advocating whoring yourself out with the lowest common denominator

lets see where the trinidad "fans" are in three years

the mad rapper has a sense of entitlement.

nikkas always making excuses

2 Chainz and Big Krit got record deals with the same record label
Kendrick and Chief Keef got record deals with the same record label
Joey Bada$$ sounds is NY 90s (a sound people said was dead) his videos gets played on MTV jams right after a Trinidad James video and he will probably get a record deal and a push

There's a lot of lanes in the rap game. You don't have to have a certain sound or a big time smash to get noticed. It helps but it isn't the only thing needed.

 This. nikkas complain about all the (for lack of a better word) gimmick rappers and fail to recognize the others that rap with some actual substance and make it (sign a deal, major buzz, substantial show money, etc.) Most nikkas just love to hate and will never admit they were in the wrong, its always someone else's fault (the industry tryna hold me back, its fake, fukk them nikkas :sadbron::sadbron:)

i agree with who ever wrote this.

the rappers who have bars or whatever always complain about Drake or whoever getting signed and getting play on radio instead of them. But even if Drake didn't exist, they still wouldn't get play.

plenty of people will have worked harder and longer than Warren Buffet. By some of you guy's logic, they should have more money than him.

it's not how hard or how long you grind. it's how smart you grind.

What a terrible article

since when was trinidad james a "creative artist with a real fanbase"?
