Brock's return wasn't cemented for long term at that point, and even though he lost, Brock looked unstoppable and indestructible. And let's be honest, Rock/Hogan wasn't going to be the best in terms of ability.

Rock/Hogan was THE main event on that card and would main event any card HHH wrestles on. The only excuse for that match going on last is that the belt was on the line.

Great posting but a few glaring omissions:

1) Being the FIRST heel ever to win the ME of WM over the ROCK IN HIS PRIME

2) Making sure he headlined Mania over Rock/Hogan. I was there. Crowd was straight and this was after the Rumble pop when he was supposedly "super over". He wasn't.

3) Being the second opponent for Brock Lesnar's return and BEATING HIM AT MANIA

Add in the shots he's taken at Foley over the years after Foley went out of his way to MAKE him. Worst in-ring and on-mic talent to make it to his level and it's not close.
