It's eats Paul alive knowing that he'll never be on Austin's, Rock's, Hoegan's or Cena's level. Hell, even Taped Fist Taker said that Paul's boy has always been better than him(I know it was to build up to the HIAC match at WM, but truth is truth). Vince must definitely be on the don't die plan because who knows what Paul and Stephanie's petty asses will do when they get control of the company

I don't know about booking and the running of daily business but Dusty was pretty much the hands-on talent manager. Lots of the NXT guys rep Dusty for helping them shape their characters/gimmicks and supporting their choices. Especially for some of the wrestlers who at the time weren't used to doing promo's or just flat-out uncomfortable being on a mic, he was a major help.
