Well at this point what’s there left for him to do in the ring? His whole character was always defined by an obsessive need to hold the top tier championship and almost always as the heel. JR used to describe the title as meaning more to him than life itself. Where do you go after having held it some 14 times and 20+ years with the company as an in ring performer?

The thing is that more often than not HHH get his ass beaten and punked all up and down the road to WM. In those months he usually does one or two scumbag things so convoluted and momentum stopping that people think it's 2002 all over again.
