@TheGreatShowtime You can go ahead and add this fukkery to Part 2. :wow:

The way he did his supposed homeboy was :scust:

Triple H And Stephanie McMahon Nixed Batista’s Return At SummerSlam 2014 For A Hilarious And Crazy Reason
Batista was on MLW Radio this week and talked about that return. He also elaborated on another return he wanted to make, at SummerSlam 2014. The idea was simply that he wanted to have the No. 1 movie in the world with Guardians of the Galaxy and a headline spot at SummerSlam, because synergy. But Triple H and Stephanie had other ideas:

“I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if I was back and I was also in the No. 1 movie in the world?’ And they kind of had a snicker and [they said] ‘… We don’t know if the movie’s going to be that good.’ … It was a very uncomfortable moment where I think they were just kind of doubting me and laughing in my face”

Yes. According to Batista, Triple H and Stephanie didn’t see much cross-promotional opportunities because they didn’t think Guardians of the friggin’ Galaxy would perform well in the box office. This is the same company that cross-promoted The Rock at WrestleMania XX with Walking Tall.

Dave is about to double down on the nerd love with Blade Runner: 2049 too :wow:

Speed reading is not that difficult in 2016 with all the social media feeds we scan quickly so I don't get why people still do the "did not read" thing.

That said, as a proud HHH detractor I enjoyed this and I endorse @TheGreatShowtime 's thoughts here. If you're ever in Minnesota I owe you a beer (whatever you drink for recreation)

Hunter from mid 99 to mid 2001 was as good as anybody but there's so much shyt surrounding it makes it real difficult to lock in and remember that period fondly.

This is hilarious. It's funny cuz I stopped watching wrestling after junior high, but I always remember how they used to force triple H on us. I remember always trying to like Triple H but it was just something about him that didn't do it for me.

His run during the McMahon-Helmsley Era was unfukkwittable, classics with Kurt, Rocky, Foley, Austin...:mjcry: Top heel shyt needed at a time where most wrestlers were cheered by the audience. But he made Raw so wack during the Reign of Terror, burying my favorites RVD, Y2J, and Booker T at the time. It was all about the Smackdown/SD Six and independent scene due to that run, so it was a blessing in disguise.

Nothing new in the OP but it's still staggering the amount of bullshyt Triple H has been involved with :scust: and as you pointed out you didn't even go all in with every story, burial or situation were La Nariz put himself in the main event and made everyone around him and the product look worse.

If you had capped it off with his failed attempts to get a sympathy ovation (and getting booed/clowned by the crowd instead) this might've been your masterpiece :wow: My vote for you as POTY was validated after reading this :salute:

In 99' he was god awful. It was the begging of a really forced push as the main heel in a time were the roster was stacked with top level talent. It was similar to Rollins push last year, were he wasn't getting much heat and his promos weren't really good but he was still positioned as the n°1 guy.

He did have an awesome 2000 and early 2001. That's when everything clicked for dude as he was paired up with great foils for him and he was at his peak as a wrestler. Then the quad injury happened and everything went south.

I personally enjoyed his second half of 99 stuff especially once graduated away from DX hunter and went into the grimier version where he started being overly aggressive towards Chyna, JR well everyone really out of frustration. the top of the card was crowded but you could tell he belonged at the time.

I was at Summerslam 1999, you could feel it that the crowd was open and accepting to the idea of him winning that night, he was fun to boo for the reasons you actually want to be booed for. He had valid talking points but was acting spoiled and entitled and thus you wanted to see him get his ass kicked
