I know, I asked.

And being fine with it now sounds good & well until you look up two years from now, they’re gone and you have nobody to put seats in asses.

AEW at least has a solid future under them in Ospreay, Hangman, Swerve, MJF, etc.

There’s a reason why Vince always looked to make his next face of the company at a certain age. We saw it with Shawn, Brock, Cena, Roman, etc.
Wwe will be alright.

Again times are different. We have to stop comparing what happened 30 years ago. Vince didn’t have a combination of raw, SD, nxt, evolve, PC. Etc. 10000s of wrestlers at the palm of his hand to look for the next one.

And Vince milked Cena for ten years before Roman came along I’m not trying to hear that. It’s only year two for Cody lol

Older wrestlers on top that are already stars is a different discussion than the mid card being greatly populated with 40 year olds that aren’t stars or are way past cooked
Why? The upcoming wrestlers need experienced vets to work with.

There’s nothing wrong with 40 year olds being in the mid card.

nikkas in here like… but what about 5 years from now. I do not give a fukk we will cross that bridge 5 years from now lmao

Theory would’ve been 26 :mjcry:
He’ll be alright imo, might not be in wwe at the moment, but long term he’s fine

Everything in wrestling is different breh. He could either get shine in another promotion or be the guy a few years down.

We talking about the top guys being old and how it’s going to destroy the future 3 years from now.

Bron only been on the roster for a full year and is a top story with the top guys. Nxt got how many 20 something year olds?

And then you mention AEW guys…. So many guys are gonna jump ship from there and vice versa.

3 years from now everything will be fine no matter what. This is the healthiest pro wrestling has ever been with talented athletic people.. something Vince didn’t have back in the day nor did Vince have the luxery of wrestlers careers lasting long.

Yeah he made new stars often but that’s because the other stars he made kept leaving for reasons lol. Stone cold had to retire and the rock left for Hollywood so he found Brock and then Brock left so he made cena. And that’s my point about cena being the guy for 10 plus years lol Vince was literally forced to make superstars over and over. Not because he felt like he had too.

Younger fans need younger faces to gravitate to and grow with. If Raw has Rusev as the bad ass from the past generation and Finn on the other side that the younger talent has to get past to get to Seth or Punk that’s cool and the right role for them right now. When Carmelo gets his ass beat by Aleister Black and Theory gets his ass beat by Sheamus, what are they doing?

By no means am I saying the WWE is in trouble or anything like that.

I just remember the nasty spots they ended up in at times because they failed to make new top guys and by that I mean actual guys they would let close Night 2 of Mania.

We’re not too far removed WM27 :scust:

My point is older top guys AND older challengers when there needs to be a contrast and balance. It’s not even realistic for guys in their physical prime to get their ass kicked the way that they do. You’d never bet on a 45 year old fighter against a 28 year old fighter

I don’t think that will happen tho. Pro Wrestling is too deep with talent. The only thing that can hurt wrestling promotions in 2025 and the foreseeable is bad writing imo

I get what you’re saying but it’s wrestling. If a washed up Cena is wrestling Bron then sure.
