They fukked that up cuz with all the new people they got, they could've had one big storyline with a bunch of side quests for all the members. I don't know what stories they have now cuz I don't really see any or at least none that come close to that level.

A dominant bloodline with Reigns leading and all like 10 members taking control of WWE would've been interesting.

Maybe one day soon they'll get a storyline that's nearly as decent.
No joke the best story right now is the Bianca/Naomi/Jade saga, and everything else is just trash.

So now fightful is running a story about people in the WWE being against Cody turning heel. Sadly I think Cody is feeding Sapp this bullshyt since he's friends with the thigh rubber.:mjlol:

Harsh truths. If Cody and Punk saw Ricky like he thinks they do, he’d be on Raw or Smackdown right now.

I'm not following Stark's progress in NXT closely, but investing in his development isn't a sign that they don't rate him highly. Cobb is too old to go through the system and he got hired cause they need an interchangeable goon to shoehorn into the Bloodline angle for a while. That doesn't change the fact that he's 45 years old with a beer gut and will be lucky if he's still on the roster 2 years from now.

What's the consensus on WWE Evolution 1 :patrice: . Despite Steph being all in the videos, it was a pretty good effort to showcase a all woman show. Sadly wrestling fans are knuckle dragging ass heads that want to see ass and t*ts (no blaming them), and workrate somehow gets overlook for t*ts.

If the states were well receptive to women wrestling like Japan (despite the fan service and pimping), wrestling would actually be in the 21st century.
I thought it was solid at the time, nothing groundbreaking, but solid. I also think the women's division has improved a bit since so there'll be greater quality in an EV2 IMO.

Yeah, there'll always be guy talk when it comes to the asses and t*ts, but at least we get good matches and characters out of it. :manny: :russ:

I also wish the Royal Rumble was two nights instead of SummerSlam. I think the women are interesting and credible enough to carry a night on their own.

AS far as Cobb goes, guy is nearly 43, has been wrestling since 2009, and has over 1100 matches on his resume. Guy has worked over 600 matches in New Japan, ROH, AEW, CMLL, MLW, TNA, NOAH, AAA, NWA, and Lucha Underground, so he's basically worked every TV company in existence. What would even be the point in putting I'm in NXT at that age? What can he possibly learn there that he hasn't already learned or can't be learned on the job/behind the scenes?

Decades of picking up bad habits in the indies is exactly why he would benefit from developmental. They're not wasting that level of investment in him for obvious reasons.

Stupid MF not gonna be satisfied until the arenas go back to how they were in 2019

——

Before buying tickets to WWE’s next show, beware: you might not get what’s advertised.

This past Friday, SmackDown came to Greensboro, NC, and promised a star-studded lineup headlined by Cody Rhodes, according to WWE’s website. But when the night ended, the former Undisputed WWE Champion was nowhere to be found.

“Cody Rhodes was scheduled for #Smackdown tonight but it ended up being a no-show?! Why?” asked one fan on X.

As late as 6:25 p.m. ET on Friday, WWE.com still listed Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Bianca Belair—none of whom appeared—as “Featured Superstars” for that night’s SmackDown. The Greensboro Coliseum also promoted Rhodes, Belair, and Kevin Owens, who is currently sidelined with a neck injury. However, it included the disclaimer: “Card subject to change.”

Talking about the indies and how people need to go into developmental supposedly, i wonder something. If wwe is all focused on the entertainment part more than the wrestling part then why do they recruit from the indies & wrestling schools instead of the acting schools in Hollywood. If the indies are teaching them the wrong way or things that WWE doesn't prefer, then they might as well look for people taking acting classes that are waiting for some tv producer to hit them up for work. Seems like they want people that can look at a camera more than anything.
