I don't entirely blame HHH, I'm sure TKO has their hands in this boring mess as well. However, if HHH was as good as many (including myself) initially thought he was he could at least work around, through, or even with the meddling to make something entertaining. Instead it's like he wrote one mediocre script when he was sleepy and depressed and has been running it through the free version of Chat GPT instructing it to make the most minute of changes from show to show.

Since he's had to share power it's like he's given up. And the crazy thing is he actually got a political win over the Rock with the Cena heel turn and he still fumbled it. Classic HHH would have inserted himself in the storyline when Rock bailed on it (making sure to slick bury him in the process) and just kept the story going because that was his idea but instead he just let it slowly die. The Old HHH would run this actually old version out of the WWE and take his position.

I agree with the first sentence, but it's hard when your ass is out here metaphorically dancing like you Diddy in 94 and 95.

Go ahead and give it to him, the nerds can rejoice while everyone else with a brain knows this won't do shyt for the WWE. They're going to be in half empty arenas and dummies are going to be saying " I don't understand why it's empty, Gunther beat Cena so the arenas should be sold out".

If Cena hadn't turned heel, I feel like it would have made sense for him to face Gunther at WrestleMania for the WHC. Then you could have Punk win the Rumble and challenge Cody while Seth faces Roman (the Paul Heyman stuff can still factor into that match).

They won't have time to build to this match because Cena only has a few dates left, so we probably won't even get these two in a segment together. And Gunther already retired Goldberg, so I guess it's interesting to see him retire someone else?

Also, what's the idea for the tournament? A bunch of guys in four-way matches leading to one-on-one matches? Punk, Orton, Cody, Sami, and Logan won't be in it because they already faced Cena, so that cuts them out. A.J. won't be in it because he's facing Cena this Saturday. So, outside of Seth, Roman (who sure as hell won't be in it), and Drew, you have no top guys who can be in the tournament and win. Might as well make it a tournament full of up-and-comers who could use it. Or maybe just have Gunther come out and challenge Cena. That also works.
