I think people focus too much on the age of these people when the issue is more so the visibility

at the time in 2000, most of WWE guys mentioned all felt like fresh faces that hadn't been hogging up the spotlight for a decade. We were in a period where we were ready to move on from Flairs and Hogan's of the world, and we wanted to see new faces at the top. Guys like The Rock and veterans like Austin were able to step in.

outside of like Gunther and Cody Rhodes, we've seen a lot of these nikkas (Randy, Cena, Roman, Seth etc) be THE guy for damn near 15 years now.. which is why someone like LA Knight feels refreshing. Sure, he's old as shyt, but in terms of being on our tv's at the forefront, he's only been around for maybe 3 years so he feels fresh in comparison.

I see a lot of people saying Priest had their favorite world title run recently, and that's legit because it just felt new. whenever someone like Punk or Rollins are champion, it legit feels like a rerun of what we've already been seeing. That's the main reason I'm all in on Breakker, Reed etc. I could careless about how old they are.

Damian's run as El Campion did make me a bigger fan of him, so that tracks. It's one of the rare times a guy actually became more over because he was champion. It's a shame they just stopped pushing him after that and now, he's slid back down the card.

I want to see how Punk is going to be booked as champion. Based on his promo last Monday, he should be doing what Seth did during his first run and defend the title regularly on RAW. He can do the PPVs, but let's say he actually did defend the title against Finn Balor, Sheamus, etc. Hell, they could go crazy, have Kofi attack Punk, and demand a title shot. That's something cool and interesting, and they have years of history.

But for now, let's give Logan Paul the first try. :mjlol:

I agree with everything except about punk being champ feeling the same as the rest

nikka just became champ like 3 days ago and was only champ for 5 mins before that at Summerslam

It’s still new to me

What people mean to say is they want newer faces at the top like you said

They could do a road to Wrestlemania storyline for La knight and everyone would eat it up if he won it all

Well that’s until he becomes champ and everyone claims it’s a boring run and he’s been champion too long it’s time to freshen things up—- it’s been 2 months lol

WWE is so corporate and soulless now. Been watching old TNA feuds and storylines from '04 to '08 lately and intense raunchy wrasslin' will always be >>>

call me crazy but I'd be okay with a Logan run.

I thought WWE was on the right track when the World Title was being used for people new to the main event scene (Gunther, Priest, Jey Uso)

I almost felt like going back to Seth Rollins who's a multi time champion was a backwards move and I'm probably right because that shyt kinda halted things imo.. I'd like the next crop of champions to be Breakker, Sami, Knight etc. keep the momentum going with first time holders. No need to go back IMO. Let the WWE championship be for the well established acts. Use the world title to make guys.

Dirty Dom should be the top heel in WWE, no question. Not 10+ straight years of Seth Rollins. Not 40 something year olds who have been around forever and even the ones that are fresher still seem too old. Not Logan Paul. Dirty Dom is the ultimate shythead heel and is probably the only heel in WWE that not only seems like he's having a blast, but the fans are also having a blast giving him shyt every week.
