Who cares if WWE is running 'Evolution' on the same day as 'All In'? It is what it is... Choose the show you want to watch live and go from there. Since it's 'Evolution' I can't see the card being much of anything I personally will be interested in besides maybe whatever Bianca or Iyo are doing so I'd watch 'All In' live and then catch up on 'Evolution' whenever..

Just have them interact at SME

Mitb is like 2 weeks after they could have the match there

Or they could have a match way down the line

I’m fine with whoever cena wrestles as long as we continue to get good builds and entertaining matches like like cena vs orton

What do you mean by "good build"? Cuz I think the Orton and Cena one was more nostalgia than anything. It's like if Austin and Rock would have a match for the title at their old age for us Attitude Era viewers.

Thinking about builds and it seems like a lot of them are the same including the Orton and Cena one. Especially with a heel champion. It be like a mother dealing with a misbehaving child on some I don't like how you've been acting so I'm gonna take your toy away from you. Not much different than Orton telling Cena he didn't like how he had been treating the fans or whatever else he was doing and how he was gonna take the title from him.

Now Truth is a character himself so he can bring the comedy but with Cena not there consistently, could be a bit difficult. But most of the other challengers just gonna give the same type of promos and builds we've seen time after time.

Yeah it’s nostalgia for me but is that supposed to be a bad thing?

Part of the premise of cena retirement tour is we get a bunch of match ups one last time. And since it’s a retirement tour with limited dates all the builds aren’t going to have some long drawn out feud to let build.

What cena and orton gave me during two weeks of their build, and their match, I’m fine with.

I’m just happy to enjoy the last ride of cena wrestling career

I mean when you think of it....this is basically a reverse Inoki Final Countdown, but with CeGOAT being the heel instead of face. He's wrestling the guys of his past and quite frankly, I'm happy that Cena didn't forget about Truth as their feud gets often overlooked. I wouldn't be surprised if AJ Styles, Phil, Taker (in a Saudi event), and finally Roman Reigns to be the one to retire Cena.

The negative backlash is getting louder within every bad show. The booking this year and last year is literally night and day.

Breh like say what you want about Vince and em. But the spirit of wrestling died the moment he got the boot. shyt is like a dictator that killed people but looked out for whats best for business.

Its a catch 22. You have heads saying "WWE is byke :krs: ", but failing to see that they are watching an advertisement show with wrestling and sports entertainment being second.

From IShowspeed to Pat McAfee wrestling. This is basically celebrity wrestling, as the wrestlers get younger and forgettable, while the movie stars have their viral moment.

Sooner or later we all going to be NWG because this isn't wrestling at all, but a variety show.

Will the fans stop watching?

No because it's an institution at this point.

For people to stop watching or supporting something or someone, it would have to be massive.
Wrestling always has it’s peaks and valleys and it takes time for ratings/viewers to reflect it. They’re still riding the high of the Bloodline storyline.

WCW was still doing strong rating until mid-late 99 despite all the revisionist history.

A lot of people love to give Austin credit for the WWF taking back the lead in the Monday Night Wars when it was really Shawn who was responsible for getting them there. 97 is easily the best written year of WWF TV imo.

It's also like how WCW was riding on fumes from the NWO/ Sting story going into 98 but true fans started really noticing the cracks. But people dismissed them as marks anytime you start showing you care about the product and calling it out(Like now).

Crazy money being made, a deep talent pool, overshadowed it for the moment. They were creatively bankrupt in 98 but the numbers were still crazy

It was 99 when we saw the real cracks starting to show and 2000 straight sink.

They'll still get viewers but the trend has been down overtime when zooming out. I believe the tv deals all signed last year were for 5 years, not sure about the terms, but not like there could be any drastic changes in viewership or the terms of the contracts at a sudden moment in time.

The thing that may hurt them more over time is affordability. They aren't a self owned company anymore. I think typically when businesses buy another and don't merge, they look to cut costs or find ways to make extra revenue to get their money back from the sale. We seen those cuts from the recent releases of not just wrestlers but also some of the executive staff. I also wouldn't be surprised if they've cut down or even lowered pay on the behind the scenes crew like production or maintenance or any of those since they aren't really doing live tours anymore so not as much need for people. I think UFC runs once a week, not sure how they do theirs but wouldn't be surprised if tko uses the same staff for both to save costs.

Ticket sales will continue to go up tho as the employees keep requiring a higher salary, which the fans help pay for. Question is how high can they realistically go before the attendance starts to really suffer.

It's kind of like the movie theater industry. I heard recently that AMC was gonna lower ticket prices for Wednesdays, and it's not surprising cuz I'm sure numbers are down across the board. Movie studios aren't producing a consistent amount of good films plus the increase in streaming services that have all led to a decline in sales. I had the A list membership and canceled cuz it just wasn't worth it. When it's not worth spending money on something, then that's when the business suffers. WWE not at that point yet but def have to be cautious just like any business cuz it may not be overnight but things can change gradually overtime.

On a different note, I hope these two cocksuckers are burning in hell:

I want my WCW back *pouts and kicks tree*

Your WCW was dead long before they did anything tbh

Those last couple of years were very hard to watch

Why do we keep having this talk :russ:

Ticket prices keep increasing and wwe keeps adding more shows.

Dudes will watch 9 hours of wwe content, and this is before a PLE or a SME and then be like damn they didn’t pull the trigger on something we’re starting to see the cracks things are getting boring.

No shyt mother fukker you basically watched an entire season in one week if you look at it. Most seasons to a show are like 8-9 hours. And you watch that in a week weekly

And what’s wild is we will compare it to the older days of making everything mean more or random shows having the biggest card ever…. Ignoring the fact those were the days when weekly wrestling shows were a total of four hours per week and maybe a ppv once a month

we watched WrestleMania about 3 weeks ago, had backlash last week, and we will have SME next week and two weeks after that we will have MITB

Like no shyt you just watched a raw where nothing really happened lol :russ: it has nothing to do with a company creative skills if you over saturate yourself for $$$$

Dudes just got to learn how to pick and choose when to watch wrestling in 2025. You just watched 20 hours of wwe and AEW and felt like nothing happen? No shyt :Russ:
