Yep.

The ultimate end game. I'm telling y'all, people are going to miss the good Ole days, because the game is fitting to change for the worst. I'm talking shyt that would make Lou Thez do a roll up in his grave :picard:

Haha

Bad part is, for years wwe strived for celeb endorsement and mainstream coverage. And then remember when we had a celebrity GM on Raw EVERY week?

They finally started getting that organic mainstream love over the past several years.....but now they wanna go WAY over the top eith it nowadays. It's gonna backfire eventually bc the product sucks. Pricing out your real fans, none of the top talent appearing on weekly tv or eve ppvs, etc. They think bc they're on Netflix "ratings" don't matter. So no need to have Roman or Cena, Cody every week.. It's going to bite them in the ass sooner than later

Funny thing is, UFC pinnacled with & off Brock Lesnar, a pro-wrestler. Then Connor McGregor 100% used wrestling booking style promos etc to sell his fights.

Dana White wishes he could do what Vince did. Vince sold a pre-determined "sport", maligned for years, but still printed money after bringing it back from nearly being out of business.

Tell you what's coming next.... If business gets bad, we're gonna start seeing crossover. Maybe not so much as wwe guys going into the octagon, but the other way around. Soke ufc guys or girls will pop up on raw and challenge for a fight on a ple. Just watch
I honestly would be mad at that as long as they took it serious and were actual names. They don’t seem to have too many rn.

I’m a big Shamrock stan but I also liked how certain guys like Severn, Abbott, etc. brought that realism over to wrestling.

As good as Russo was at selling himself/getting into Dixie Carter & WCW top brass’ head there’s probably like 4-5 of those guys in TKO/Endeavor/WWE/7Bucks all vying for HHH’s spot

With most notable WWE wrestlers over the last 2-3 years re-signing with WWE well before they could hit free agency, how long until they start going “maybe I should explore my options?”

Like Austin, the sheer charisma of Cena is *barely* carrying this wack ass heel turn :snoop:
Austin as a heel was at least entertaining and had character development and he did it as a serious and as a comedy heel both in the same run

This should have been Cena/Truth

To do what else? Lol

His shady ass probably behind the scenes emailing every tko exec he can find trying to get a job
I just remember after mania he said he was retiring because there’s too much wrestling but I guess I shouldn’t have took him on his word

It’s like me saying I’m no watch gang when I’m going to watch money in the bank

Let's be honest, Rock don't know squat about booking and creative. He would be unengaged and hire a team of ppl to write semi-corny stuff like Brian Gewertz wrote for him. WWE would be dead in 2 years under him

Punk is still getting great reactions. I've never been a huge Punk fan at all but I can't blame him right now for what's going on. What I will say about Punk is that he's never usually too interesting as a babyface. Yes, he's a jerk to people but the best Punk is ALWAYS the self-absorbed a$$hole Punk.... because that's himself turned to 11 :mjlol:

That's the Punk the streets need
