Sad thing is that were wasn’t even really competition to sign him. I mean NJPW would have re-signed him, NJPW isn’t really competition to WWE, and AEW wasn’t interested as far as I know. So it’s not like they were signing him just to pry him away from AEW like they’ve done with others and then turned them into just another person on the roster.

With both of his brothers going to WWE, there was a zero percent chance he would have considered signing with AEW.

I'd bet the only reason they signed homie was to use him for The Bloodline story and now that they pivoted and they're done with that shyt they don't know what to do with him :russ:

Any plans probably went completely off the rails when Tonga Loa tore his bicep in November (and is still out). Tama Tonga is now out with an injury that needed surgery. Honestly wouldn't shock me if they release all three of them sooner rather than later.

Careful...this is how NWO got played out :francis: . I get it, a hot stable bring in the masses especially on the level of the Bloodline. After a while, you gotta dead a powerful creation and take a loss. Yes "strike while the iron is hot" steez is essential considering how mid the WWE been since the Bloodline breakup, but onto the next one welcomes a change of pace and a chance to experiment.

Would rather see where the Truth storyline goes, hopefully Triple Oops my bad it's on me, can capitalize off of the roses for Truth.
Bloodline can't go on forever true, but the booking since then has been lazy and boring. Something got to shake because if you miss an episode it feels like you not missing shyt.

I just wanna know the fukk do you go from 1999 with only Vince Russo and maybe a handful of writers, writing stories for basically everyone on the show . Made everyone matter..

To 2025 with multiple writing teams.. and all we got is a lame Seth story.. and then just a bunch of wwe2k universe mode matches between everyone else?!

Just so lazy and I'll never let anyone tell me any period of wrestling was more interesting than 1998-2001
