i dont get why you rebrand him as Ron "the Truth" Killings...but he comes out to the same music doin the "what's up" shyt and they call him "R-Truth" 100 times during the match. Dead in the water.

He said he wanted to keep ‘What’s Up.’

He told Metro Boomin on X.

You see how he turned on Mariah/Blake like nothing right

Fare weather fan :beli:

You're going to be in for a shock when you learn the head of the Stooge World Order called Cody Rhodes "an embarrassment to the wrestling business" and CM Punk "Flabby-N-CM Punk" when they were both in AEW and is now both of their #1 cheerleaders.

He owns the rights to the current song where as if the music was changed, then WWE would control it. Also, would you trust Def Rebel making a good theme at this time?

I think Theory been the same character for so long with no growth that its not surprising where he at. Think they tried to push him too quickly and it didn't work out like they wanted to. Not to mention him losing momentum with Vince gone.

Why would WWE control it? He makes his own music. He could use another one of his songs. I thought he was steering the ship?

edit: a quick search through Spotify credits reveals the "Whats Up" version on Streaming was put out by WWE and is most likely at least partially if not completely owned by WWE.

WWE wants to control the rights to the music just in case if the theme becomes very popular (ex. NWO, SCSA, Hollywood Hogan and Goldberg have iconic intros that transcended outside of wrestling). So if Ron wanted to change it, that would have been negotiated with his new deal on who has ownership. Plus I don't see Truth being in the WWE for much longer anyway (year or two at best) so it better to keep it as it is since it was probably grandfather into his deal.

You're just speculating. WWE doesn't have to have ownership...they don't own or control Punks or Codys music. If he wanted to change his name and cut if his braids...cool. He should be presented different but instead we're getting more of the same and its taking me out. He should have had different music. If that needed to be negotiated...he should have negotiated it. All that other shyt about 2 years is more speculation and don't even matter. 2 years is an eternity in wrestling. The Brood was around for a year at best. You remember that classic music dont you? The point is...its lookin like Ron Killings will be rapping, doing the jumping splits and all that other goofy shyt just in time to accidently show up for Evolution.
