I personally think all that stuff is overstated. It’s wrestling. If WWE decided tomorrow that they wanna take the sexual chocolate nikka who been jobbing for a decade and erase all that by making him an unbeatable force overnight, they could.

That’s how this industry always worked. I think sometimes you guys wrongly look at losses early in someone’s career like some permanent irreversible stain and it don’t really be all that. We’ve seen a career tag team bum like Bradshaw become a republican Mexican hating world champion in like a month. If WWE decided it was go time for Melo tomorrow, everything he’s done up to this point would be irrelevant. That’s just how pushes go. If melo won the rumble I doubt people would be going “yeah but he lost to Damien Priest that one time”
