The talent they do have that's under 35 (Montez, Carmelo off the top) are doing nothing of note on the main roster, stuck on NXT, or they're running on a hamster wheel (Bron Breaker). Crazy how they're relying on 40 year olds instead of building their young guys up who are much more likely to be available physically in 5 - 7 years.

Good thing about the Monday Night Wars is that it forced Vince to concentrate on the young talent and it paid dividends. To his credit, he never had much issue with heavily pushing "the future." Hell, sometimes, it was to their initial detriment (Reigns).

Vince always was one step ahead when it came to creating/pushing his next top stars:

Bret/Luger/Shawn/Taker
Rock/HHH/Angle
Lesnar/Cena/Orton
Lashley
Punk
Reigns/Rollins
Theory
Etc.

Whats Stratton? 25 years old? They keep her in your face no matter what. Made sure Rhea and Cgarlotte stayed away from her while doing it..slick shyt. They dont do that for Montez Ford or Carmelo. They had no push for Bobby Lashley against the Bloodline but Edge and Sami Zayn were good enough? Lol.

Anywsy..Cripple H gushing over Donald Trump in another interview

Triple H on Donald Trump & The Rock Learning About Charisma and Connecting With People Through WWE

“Yeah. I mean, I think if you go back through history, even in politics, and you look at the person that gets elected in every presidential cycle, it’s the most charismatic person on that stage that gets elected president. The issues are important. All the, you know, the real-life day-to-day things that are important to people obviously are there, but at the end of the day, they’re picking who they like. They’re picking who connects with them. They’re picking who is charismatic to them. You know, Donald Trump was very good in our world of WWE because he was okay to be himself. He was okay to sort of get egg on his face and be embarrassed sometimes. He was okay to put it all out there and just be him. But he’s charismatic. He’s larger than life. He’s not afraid to say what’s in front of him, right or wrong. The Rock is the same way. That connection with people is really it’s to, in my mind, it is what drives the planet.”

Wrestlers ages now aren’t really a big thing as it was in 2000 imo:manny:

A 40 year old wrestler back then ment either you was in a wheelchair or so broken down by drugs, alcohol & steroids that you couldn’t walk straight

Wrestlers now especially in WWE take better care of themselves it’s why people like Drew Damien Sheamus Cody Roman AJ Finn can still perform at a high level

It would be different if they all wrestled like Pat & Brisco in 2000
