Wrestlers ages now aren’t really a big thing as it was in 2000 imo:manny:

A 40 year old wrestler back then ment either you was in a wheelchair or so broken down by drugs, alcohol & steroids that you couldn’t walk straight

Wrestlers now especially in WWE take better care of themselves it’s why people like Drew Damien Sheamus Cody Roman AJ Finn can still perform at a high level

It would be different if they all wrestled like Pat & Brisco in 2000

All of them but Damien are showing their miles now. Punk Cena and Orton greatly slowed down and can do the classics like Flair and Dusty at that age

So Smackdown got 933k viewers. Can you HHH stans finally admit that he's completely ruined the WWE product? Putting ads on tables isn't driving people away, putting out a shytty product and centering it around vanilla midgets and glorified midcarders is driving people away.
From A Creative standpoint yes it’s been horrible :manny:

Everything from the business side is TKO’s fault nothing to do with HHH:manny:

Difference is that Breaking Bad was a top five or even arguably top 3 show of all time. Way different than Triple H booking.
That’s facts. It’s hard to stay positive about the current direction of the E. They’re creatively bankrupt. Time for Trick, Oba & Ethan to move up to spark some energy

He’s part of the problem. TKO needs to be called out as well

Although those numbers marked a drop from the previous week, it still ranked #1 among cable shows in the key 18-49 demo for the night.

Breh this isn't a sport.

It's entertainment...there's a gonna be some wear on the audience watching the same people over and over again.

And anybody saying the issues are about their "wheel chair bound bodies" isn't being serious.

Most these 40 year old's are TRT'd up.

But, outside of Damian, Gunther, most of these dudes been on the main roster 10 years.

Like, there running of stuff to do with them.

And, yes, you do have to think about the future.

John's retired, Cody JUST said he's retiring soon, Roman's retiring soon, AJ, etc.

It's time to use the old heads to put over the younger talent in more interesting ways than making them goons in their new groups (ex The Vision).

Vince always was one step ahead when it came to creating/pushing his next top stars:

Bret/Luger/Shawn/Taker
Rock/HHH/Angle
Lesnar/Cena/Orton
Lashley
Punk
Reigns/Rollins
Theory
Etc.

I remember in the early 2010s, Vince invested in young talent heavily. There was a Breakthrough Battle Royal to determine who would get a title match at TLC in 2009, and it was made up of people who had never been world champion. Kofi was getting a push, Drew was getting a push, Miz was getting a push. The Nexus was on the rise from the moment they came to the main roster. I remember there was a WWE Championship match between Miz and Morrison on the first RAW of 2011. That all changed once Rock and Brock came onto the scene and they started relying on part-timers, but for a time, Vince was obsessed with the future. I think it's because so many top stars left or stopped being full-time (Triple H, Batista, Undertaker, HBK, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Jericho).

What's Triple H going to do in a few years? Punk is pushing 50, Orton is hardly around, Roman's hardly even part-time status now, Cena's retiring, A.J.'s retiring, Brock is.....whatever he is. He's going to have to start giving these young guys a chance to prove themselves. If they want it and they're ready, guys like Carmelo and Trick and Bron should be getting groomed for world title runs and WrestleMania main events. He doesn't have this problem on the women's side, so I don't know why all the main eventers are guys in their 40s or pushing 40.
