You spent over a year arguing Jey shouldn’t be a top guy :ld:
I don’t think he’s main event material and gave my reasons

But i said I was cool with him winning the title since he was over af and won me over with a promo…

I can not be fans of wrestlers and be fine when they get chances :yeshrug: cause my main want is a great product

I do hate when it’s clear someone is main event material but the company doesn’t want it

For example I’d be fine with LA Knight winning the big one despite his age
Maybe it'd be more interesting if the entire upper card wasn't 40 and up? That list also leaves out LA Knight (43), Damien Priest (43), AJ Styles (48), Finn Balor (43), Sami Zayn (41), Penta (40), Aleister Black (40), Rusev (40), MCMGs (42/43). Not to mention other guys like Kofi, Miz, Sheamus that have been around nearly 20 years or more. They got dudes in NXT pushing 40.
I see what you’re trying to say

But is it really interesting or is it just “new”

It’d be the same shyt. Hhh promises changing the landscape. Raw opens the show with people walking with suitcases and ends with two new top guys main eventing against Bronson Reed and Bron in a tag match

Older or younger guys the show is going to have the same vibe

Which is why I think the age thing isn’t really a concern and just strongly vocal in certain wrestling spaces complaining about stuff the irl average fans don’t care about.

Don’t nobody spending an arm and a leg on TKO tickets care Cody Rhodes is 40

Main reason they need to push the young guys imo is because like 90% of wrestlers become stars as a heel before turning. Their lack to push the younger guys is why there’s such a babyface logjam problem. Guys who got over as heels since I started watching:

Rock
Austin
HBK
HHH
Angle
Jericho
LA Knight
Cena
Orton
Roman
Seth
Bray
Lesnar
Jey
Dom
I can go on & on

Whereas on the babyface side I got:

Sting
Rey Mysterio
AJ (which can be debated)
Lashley
Goldberg
DDP
:patrice:

Over here catching up on episodes of NWA and Damian Sandow on here. Thinking about that fukkery he had going on back in the day with the Miz. Maybe they need some of those comedic type characters to make things more enjoyable. They wanna write stories about realism and nothing more real than people wanting to laugh.

The gimmick was so good Johnny Cage started having a stunt double in the new Mortal Kombat games.

I don’t like it, but I can understand why they do it. Primarily this should be for NXT talents. They have too many people in the PC not getting reps outside of training sessions. I don’t see a problem like sending some of people that’s waiting around going to these other companies for the same pay. My issue is when they do talents like Jasmine Nyx and don’t increase their salary when they try to resign them. I would hope for these shows, they would pay for the talents airfare and hotel. I’m sure they do for AAA, don’t know about when they send people to TNA events.
