Yup. Of all the streaks in wrestling its only been a handful of times I’d say came close to Goldberg but the ending was always botched before crowning them which I can never understand.
Samoa Joe in TNA
Ryback
Miro in AEW
On the women side I’d throw in Asuka & Shayna Bazler on the main roster.
I remember being surprised that the guy who used to be Skip Sheffield came back. He got hurt and I kept waiting for him to come back, but he never did. Then when I found out he was Ryback, I was like

.
I'll always say that Ryback should have been the one to beat Big Show for the WHC, not Del Rio. Could have had Ryback win the Chamber and face Big Show at Mania. You could still do Del Rio/Swagger, just without the title. But the idea of Ryback picking up Big Show for Shell Shocked with the whole stadium going crazy?
Ziggler could still cash in, but this way, you still give Ryback the big moment. Him turning heel and losing to Cena killed all his momentum and he never got it back.
Wrestling will never reward hesitancy. HHH would’ve waited until 2000 to put the belt on Austin
Jacob will probably never even compete for the title, much less win it. Even if he was healthy, it's not like he was being set up to face Cody or anything important.
I remember Vince being really hesitant with Strowman. He was insanely over, but I don't think Vince believed in him. There were multiple opportunities to give Strowman the title and he was booked like shyt every time. Instead of having him in the main event of WrestleMania, he was winning the tag titles with a little boy.
By the time Strowman finally became champion, he had zero heat, and the only reason he won is because Roman stepped away from the company.
