The people who said that are the same idiots that said Bianca was booed because Iyo is so beloved. If that's the case then why was Rhea cheered for doing heel shyt to Iyo?

Bianca Belair is in the PRIME of her career and Laveck had her in the tag team division for 14 month where they lost a match with Shyna Bazler, Zoey Stark & the Witches :laff:

"Bianca's got to cool off. She was champion for a long time. Why are ya'll still even talking about her?"

Switch to Rhea.

"SHE HAS TO WIN ALL THE TIME AND BE IN EVERY CHAMPIONSHIP STORYLINE BECAUSE...LOOK AT THE POP!"

I would search for that, but, I'm 100% sure whoever that is, I put them on ignore a year ago.

Had to fix that for you because it's even worse.

And you know what? I have some thoughts on Iyo, so I feel like it's time to have a discussion about her. Not because I have issues with her, but the way she gets treated by people....... :patrice:

I'll say it for you; White male fetish for Joshi's plays into her online perception.

They do the same thing with Guilia, but, she's cold as ice rn.

Check my post history; IYO is one of the most talented women on the roster, but, she ain't that damn good.

People already judge women's wrestling based on how attractive they find the women involved (gooners), but, mix that with the thinly veined racism for black women in wrestling (See Mercedes & I just heard Lash Legend "looks like a man") and the fact that Rhea puts NOBODY over, I'm bored until Bianca comes back.

I just did some research because I was curious, and Bianca's only beaten Iyo once. Meanwhile, Iyo's beaten her four times. I guess between Bianca and Rhea, Iyo's their kryptonite. :francis:

Thank you for saying it. I'm starting to feel like Iyo gets infantilized by people, and honestly, she plays into it. She seems really nice, but I get childlike vibes from her which makes her perception worse. She's a short, giggly Japanese girl and guys (specifically white guys) love that. Asuka doesn't have that problem because she acts like a fully grown woman. It's funny because Iyo makes weird faces and wonders why Americans eat cookie dough. I'm not saying she needs to be different, but people treat her like a baby or a puppy. It makes things weird for me whenever her name comes up.

Why am I not surprised people think that Lash Legend looks like a man? A tall, well-built black woman with confidence scares the shyt out of wrestling fans. I'm sure Jade, Bianca, and Naomi deal and/or dealt with the same shyt. In fact, Bianca's spoken about the racism she's dealt with. Wrestling fans make me sick with how they treat black women. You're never going to fukk Rhea or Iyo or Stephanie or whoever you're infatuated with this week. Going after the women who don't have your skin color won't make that happen. :unimpressed:

As a Iyo Stan I can say that’s 100% true she does kind of play up the kawaii anime stereotype that dudes love to fetishize Japanese women as

That’s a thing by large with Joshi wrestlers in general especially the ones on the ones side

I mean, having another promotion that can potentially pay them better with even less dates will also make people more willing to leave :heh:

I do wonder if 10 years from now WWE will still be seen as the "end goal" for most wrestlers. I'm so detached from the E these days that the perception on them is completely lost on me.

Like, Vaquer went there for less money because it was her dream to work in the WWE and that was a sentiment that most wrestlers had for almost 20 years, will that continue to be the case on 2035 if there's no monopoly on both the narrative and the business itself?
A lot of these people don't go to AEW or even TNA, and yet say they're making more money doing actual indie shots with 200 people.

People were still sad about being fired in 2022, and it was known then that AEW was paying good to great money. Say what you want about him, but Vince found a way to keep or re-sign most of the people he actually wanted. Cody revisionist history when it comes to his WWE return is typical lying from the politician, because everyone knows Vince personally going to his home is what brought him back.

When Jade was in AEW Cornette would say she looked like Shelton Benjamin in a wig. They're quick to say attractive black women are manly looking, but will fight to death if you point out Rhea's manly facial features. They're quick to say this random black wrestler shouldn't be pushed because of their lack of mic skills, but can you name one classic Iyo promo? It's no surprise that the women's division is in the shytter, and that's because it doesn't have the true MVP in Bianca right now.

i wouldn't mind the current version of The Vision if there was an actual babyface group for them to go against, not just for war games but at least til Elimination Chamber.

DX vs The Nation was so good because of how they could mix and match opponents/matches for months on end.
