quite the opposite...nash knew this but he learned it from HBK. The kliq is 100% about making the moves that get them the most money. HBK wanting to get the belt is about him headlining and getting money. At one time the kliq had the title, IC title, and were bouncing between the tag titles with 1 or 2 other dudes. That wasn't about showing how great a wrestlers they were...it was to get headline cash, PERIOD.

man, why are folks fronting like triple h didn't FORCE himself into the driver's seat? i think that's what the point of the article is. dude is a cool guy and all BUT i do agree that he does come off sorta lame trying to force everyone to like him. at least, john cena takes the hate and boos. that's respectable and i respect him for it. triple h on the other hand was basically forcing everybody to like him when the reality is you can't force people to like you.

You misunderstand and you're acting like a child. I've seen everything the Attitude Era ever produced. The Rock's rise to greatness started in 1997 when he turned heel out of the blue after the injury return that summer when he helped Farooq. Weeks later, anyone who had any sense could tell he was going to matter because he was wearing sunglasses and wasn't taking Farooq serious like everyone else and was marking out for himself. His whole attitude and ways were just gonna get over no matter what..it was no surprise fans got behind him when they took the IC title off of him and analysts thought he was a sure fire replacement for Austin as the top face. That was easy to decipher. Goldberg's streak ending? That was a whole another ball game.
In truth, my reputation for appreciating the Rock had to do with the going ons of 2001. When the wrong men were being credited with certain successes and they were basically kicked out of the IWC never to be seen or heard from ever again.
