False. Shane was just trying to be edgy 90s Ric Flair. HHH was trying to be edgy Harley Race mixed with edgy Ric Flair so there's overlap by default.

I would say false. Shane Douglas from late 97-99 had similar booking, but their characters weren't similar in my opinion.
