Guess the OP didn't mention it but Dave also noted that Shane's wrestling ideas were not even in the same league as Stephanie and H's. As in they were way worse
And yes, he was "chummy" in the sense that he singled out a few people and ignored everybody else. Whereas it's said that Stephanie is hands on with everybody.

As in slap-happy. Look how "hands-on" Stephanie worked for the Divas division...... IT DIDN'T.
Singled out a few and ignore the rest? Sounds just like Vince.

Rapping John Cena is the big one

You ask me to name 3 but you only named one so there you go

Rapping John Cena was JOHN CENA's ideal. He was always free-styling backstage early in his career.

This wouldn't be happening if Trips had been able to knock out a male heir. :sadcam:

His swimmers went up against McMahon ovaries and jobbed out. Nikka's genes are weak as fukk. :damn:

Maybe a good thing - no girl needs that nose. :whoa:
Gender aint shyt

We're in the Caitlyn Jenner era breh

Then ditto for the Godfather.

I love how nobody's touching the part about Shane projecting with the "running into the ground" comment. His YOU company's stock is down 90% since he founded it.

And y'all really thought he was coming back for more than just a stunt match

Projecting? :mjlol:

It's a reference to one of the few bits of continuity they've managed in years.

Have a seat, man. You've spent the day defending Shawn's lazy eye and Triple H's inability to sire boys. You're doing too much.

Well done, you remembered some random bit from 8 years ago

I think I'll go ahead and stick around though, this is fun

:leostare: I wonder what Thanksgiving Dinner was like.

Vince: "There is my son Shane, man does he know how to manage a company!"
HHH: :dame:

The "Shane has horrible ideas" thing is based on what people in WWE told Dave Meltzer years ago.

We are in 2016 and we've seen what Steph's approach leads to. I have no clue how much worse Shane ideas can be at this point, specially when dude probably isn't the same as 12 years ago.

It's kind obvious why he's seen as the "good McMahon" and people think he's gonna make things better by default: they haven't seen what he can do. Considering how bad Steph's booking is, it's obvious why people see Shane'O as a savior of sorts.

What I will say though is that HHH is wrestling nerd to the nth degree and he's shown great ability in giving power to the right people. You've got Regal as his Jim Ross scouting great talent and as far as I know he still has Ryan Ward as NXT's head writer. Will HHH be able to do the same in the main roster? Will he shown the restraint he's shown in NXT and not fukk everything up like he does in 90% of the storylines he's involved with on the main roster? Will he be able to do what Vince did best and don't put personal BS before business? That's the million dollar question.

I honestly have no clue if Shane is worth a damn as a promoter, much less a booker. All I know is that I hope he's smart enough to surround himself with talented people. That's what Steph never did and HHH has shown he can do in NXT.

Everyone I've heard talk about Stephanie said she had no idea what she was talking about. She was very cold with talent, and she was largely stuffed away from the real action because of her coldness and standoff ness iwth other people.
I've heard the exact opposite :jbhmm: Ponderous

Guess it depends on who you listen to. I'ma go with Meltzer

I don't think/have never heard about Shane being petty like the other 3 are either. Vince said he'd rather have an empty arena than have someone cheered he doesn't want cheered, Stephanie straight up fukkED up over Heyman when he was booking, and not even getting started on HHH :francis:

I think Shane is actually smart enough and open enough to listen to others and the fans.

Meltzer didn't even go into details on any of it, so who knows what the ideas were. Think of some of the shyt we've seen the last 10 years.....

WWE will always be a McMahon company, when it comes down to it, I don't see it transitioning to a Levesque bloodline. Vince may have pushed Shane to make it on his own to prove himself. Heyman's theory is that Vince will hang on long enough to hand the company to Declan McMahon lol
