Took way too long for this thread to be made. I think the albums pretty cool... I’m being very generous saying 8/14 songs slap, but if I’m going by the standards trippie has of himself it’s kinda . nikka talks all that shyt being a timeless artist... he’ll be lucky if people talk about this album all month. Oomps revenge is hard, all of the singles are hard. I noticed he’s somewhat taking that X lane as far as experimenting with different genres like how you feel (sounds like some fugazi oasis, Pablo honey era Radiohead shyt) and that last song.
If anyone in the rap game could go that route it could be trippie. Maybe his fans will get him good first week numbers, but he might do 30k sales and like 5-10k pure sales. He gotta perfect his craft better this era of fans and music is not forgiving he can either blow up or fall off before he’s 21. I like the records but I can just tell already it’s gonna lack on replay value and this boy says his music is timeless

this album imo is more versatile and Trippie trys more interesting flows plus he actully can rap when he wants to

The more I even think about this shyt, there's not one kind of song that Trippie Red makes better than Juice

I thought his last project was his worst. Seemed full of himself like he didn’t need to prove himself anymore based off the first tape. This is better than the last tape but I agree with it not lasting long.

Fun, high energy music with catchy flows and knocking 808s. Him and Lil Uzi are my favorites at this type of song

This is Trippie's lane imo. Somber songs like the intro with his screeching is like nails on a chalkboard. His singing is.....why? His bars songs like Oomph are better than you might expect, but you would expect next to nothing from his bars so that isn't saying much. The emo shyt just be fake deep and non melodic

Ehh he had the slappers for the last tape. And he didn't seem to lean too heavy into the emo shyt/singing. This album he went all in on that crap and it sounds horrible

So I thought the album would have some shyt I could fukk with, but after listening to it, I know I ain't going back to it. I know he got some joints, so that's why I was kind of surprised how trash this effort was.

I don't even care this shyt rides like a muthafukker .......got a song for every mood and vibe. Trippie has catchy melodies and choruses. Without question dude will be here for the long term. I'm sure he's already ghost writing for other artists. His talent for writing choruses will be valued in the industry. Also don't know why people say it doesnt have hits. Imo there's quite a few songs on here that should catch on with the masses. That "I Wish" track is a potential crossover track for sure.


I see this getting crazy praise on social media so I know I'm not trippin. This is a very enjoyable album to me. Dude's music is an acquired taste I guess

For a nikka under 21 yeah he got bars. He got other lyrical songs like rap like me(pt 1 and 2) i think he progressed lyrically
