Not that Saigon ever had a hit or was famous but "Iced Down Medallions" was a big rap song among fans and it probably has 15 spins on streaming services.
Pointing out the Spotify spins of a song that came out years before streaming don't make much sense.

As far as the thread....I can see what Saigon is saying but he didn't invent that style. I know it's specifically the letter P but....rap been around 40+ years, there is bound to be some overlap between artist ideas.

Saigon at his peak (2000-2006) is one of my all-time favorite rappers
But he's reaching. And I feel like a lot of rappers who felt they never got their respect do this kinda thing and it's sad. They reach for moments of being influential that doesn't exist, and it comes off bitter and something washed up nikkas do.
I've seen a lot of older rappers make references to things they've done and then claim a well more established and successful rapper was influenced by them or stole from them, when a lot of times it's just not the case.
