why he didn't sign for the max possible?

Well, I guess my real question is.. why is there a max salary at all...? There isn't one in Football, Baseball, or Soccer...... so why does the NBA have to use one and couple that with a salary cap...??. If the NBA was a real free market, Steph, Bron, and Durant would be getting like 80 mil a year easily.

There is no MAX in baseball and football, yet basketball has more international appeal than both of those sports combined..... and with that being the case, why do you cap someone's salary who has global appeal....? :mjpls:

Brolic... Alcoholics
nikkaS KEEP TALKING ABOUT
"BRONS JUST ASKING FOR A BACKUP PG!"

BRON HIMSELF SAID
"ITS JUST ME KEVIN & KYRIE!"

CLEARLY IMPLYING THIS PLAYMAKER HES LOOKING FOR
IS MORE THAN JUST SOME BACKUP PG
WHILE THROWING THE REST OF HIS TEAMMATES UNDER THE BUS.

*Feel free to use this talking point
The next time you see that rhetoric*

These LeBronians need help for real.

Here's what I want to know LeBron stans:

Put yourself in Tristan Thompson's shoes. You dont lack for effort. You go out there and bust your ass grabbing mad rebounds and shyt, but yall still losing...

And this nikka comes outta nowhere and calls out everyone except Kyrie and Love. You mean to tell me that you won't feel some type of way about that?

Well, being that its not a free market he should probably just get as much as he can and not give back any money to Dan Gilbert

Answer the question tho. You wouldn't feel some type of way about that?

If I was honest with myself? No... Only the players who have just enough talent to make it, talk that rah rah.. this is our team..... you need to be on time for practice.... coach is never wrong... etc, etc....

Teddy Bruschi is a prime example of those types of player that preach that rhetoric... I know that's a different sport, but still

Shaq complained
Kobe complained
Bird complained
Magic complained
Jordan complained
Jerry Rice complained
Big Ben complaining now
etc etc

None of those players practically handpicked their roster like Bron has though :camby:

Tristan Thompson Gives Expletive-Laced Response When Asked About LeBron’s Roster Comments

Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson strongly expressed his opinions on Thursday concerning LeBron James’ controversial remarks about the team’s roster. While doing so, he indicated that he’s more concerned about helping the team get out of the rut that’s seen them lose six of their last eight games.

“I really don’t give a (expletive). I just got to keep playing better. We got to keep playing harder. He’s right,” said Thompson. “We got to all play better. It’s simple. You see the (expletive) out there. We all see it.”

Despite the struggles, Thompson bluntly indicated that he doesn’t waste any time worrying about who the Cavs should add to the roster.

“This is the team we have right now,” said Thompson. “That’s how you got to approach the game. You can’t go out there hoping somebody is coming to walk through the door. Play with whoever the hell we got right now, and let’s win some (expletive) games.

“No team is perfect. Every team needs something. You go to Golden State, they said they didn’t have the post players to protect them. The (Toronto) Raptors, they say, after Kyle Lowry and DeMar (DeRozan), what else do they got? Us, he wants another playmaker. It is what it is. Every team needs something. That’s for the front office. We only can control what we got. Guys got to get better.”

Thompson also dismissed the idea about the controversy having become a distraction to the team and affecting their on-court play.

“Ain’t no distraction,” Thompson said. “At the end of the day, it’s basketball. Go out there and just play. It’s simple. Coach give you a game plan. Do your job or sit the (expletive) down.”

The Cavaliers will look to break their current three-game losing streak on Friday night when they host the Brooklyn Nets.
