i wish oh no's beats were a bit more traditional boom bap on this. either not enough kick or not enough snare for me to jam on a lot of these tracks. I liked that style for a bit with Roc Marciano, but it really wanna hear these great lyricists over those bangin beats.

To be honest at first I thought this album was just OK. Gave it another spin in the whip and :whew: Tri-state always had bars but Oh No really stepped it up with the bass and percussion. This joint can't truly be appreciated until you hear what Oh No was doing with the production on a proper system.

My favorite joints are 'Custom' and 'Write Wrongs.' Speaking of which, that joint 'Custom' is old right??, I mean I thought I'd never hear Hus and WSG on a track together again, especially with Hus shouting out WSG
@IronFist @Deltron @Pinyapplesuckas @DrHackenbush @Keyser Soze :lupe:

:whoa: My nikka Conway may have something to say about this as well.
:leon: I stand corrected

i just dont get it. they sound like some wannabe's...wanna be roc's...wanna be gunns...wanna be smoother than jigga...im not seeing or hearing it :manny:

I'll give you the roc comparisons. But to say they are wanna be WSGunns is ridiculous. They were setting shyt off years way before WSG or Conway was rapping/making noise. If anything they helped developed the lane that Griselda was able to take and elevate with.

I got thru the album and I dig it. This does sound like an album Planet Asis would do with Oh No or Madlib full out. But Tri State is carrying on the tradition of Gold Chain Music so I dig it. Yo, man, anymore of these albums come out......someone tag in the thread. I'm glad to know more of you guys fukk with this kinda shyt; no disrespect to the trap sound but this is my shyt right here.
