Saban's and Carroll's are almost identical to this point tbh. I don't know which one was harder because I didn't watch football during that time but Saban basically had to turn a conference that contained several other championship programs into a conference he lead. I think this season decides if Alabama's is better or not

What previous years? He split time with another qb his freshman year, won the rosebowl his sophomore yr and won the national title his junior year

Not in any way shape or form is Sabans dynasty touching Carolls. Caroll had the better talent while playing the stiffer comp. Sabans first yr bama title was impressive bc he had to beat some great teams in 09 florida and 09 texas, but i think usc dominance was much more impressive

what stiffer competition? the pac-10 was garbage throughout pete's tenure. miami's 30+ game winning streak from 2000-2002 was more impressive than usc's from 2003-2005 factoring in competition. reggie bush's heisman season the top defense they faced in the regular season was 38th ranked fresno state.

It factor means you're clutch and you put your teams in positions win games, yes? Marshall did that to the same rate Cameron and Jameis did. Cameron and Jameis also had superior defenses that held it down after they did what they had to do

His sophomore year his number were good but he wasn't a great player till his last year. He had 12 tds and 13 ints his second year
