Ever since the russians bought Warner with plans to restructure its business model Basically WMG (warner music group) intent has been to centralize its hip hop acts undet the atlantic imprint.....which explains mmg being there as well as cte which came along as well in 2012....
Tip spoke on this a several months back...when he said that they actually approached him about the position...but he was more intrested in resigning for a much more lucrative deal (50 mill) which atlantic turned downed
so he suggested jeezy as a more suitable canidate..
and also sheds light on the reasons gucci mane and ductape have formed a "hate coalition" against TIP and JEEZY ...feeling as if these two are basically blocking them from malimg any progress in their careers..
