he obviously has a better deal than artists on major labels but it would make more sense if the independent label that he's singed to got that 85% while sony gets that 15% for distribution. Then after his label gets a cut, then joey gets paid. Someone like freddie gibbs who is more independent probably gets that 85-15 deal himself since he has his own label and uses empire for distribution. Anyway we dont really know anything and we shouldnt be talking about other men's money shout out to dame dash
