I mean, I get your criticism but I also think he's talking more so from a artist to artist perspective. i don't fukk with Joey badass like that but he got a movement. And he's actually gaining more fans with his past few songs. And it's also stupid for a upcoming artist to start & instigate beefs with every other current new NY rapper, esp ones with a bigger presence world wide and just link up with only his crew & older rappers. Esp given that it'd do more for the local music culture than not. Him making enemies for nooooo reason with so many new NY rappers (ones who are united) wether it be stealing their songs or throwing subs who really just stay in their own lane will just lead to him just alienating himself.

He flopped, copped pleas, and flat out lied on the Breakfast Club. He makes it impossible to root for and support him. You gotta have good music and establish yourself before you engage in that level of fukkery.

ASAP, Tan Boys, Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, Underachievers, etc are all tight and met through Yams. They all love Steez as did a bunch of other underground NYC artists outside of those crews. Troy underestimated how important Steez was and he pissed off a large group of people. Troy isn't liked or respected and he's gonna find out real quick because no one appreciates talking shyt about a teenager who committed suicide. There's no reason to take it there especially when Troy started the beef by taking shots at Joey and calling him a fake indie artist.
