Nah, some but not Ave audience. I'm sure Bobby Shmurda and them wasn't listening to them.
I respect your opinion on NY cause you really there, but honestly, do you think Troy actually has fans that really dig his shyt like that?

I wasnt big on Bobby and GS9 but they were everywhere, and had a lot of love, still do

Seems like every time Troy name is brought up, its cause hes dragging someone else's name thru the mud. At least dudes like Bobby and Desiigner did it with music

Troy Ave lol, Albany... Which is Crown Heights,

I met Ave when I was about 19 years old. He had cars, money and respect back then. Joey was prolly still a virgin. It ain't bout record sales. It's about who has respect.

I agree Ave is a grimey a$$hole. And he made a bad move. But the diss was valid.
its a bit sad you look up to Troy Ave

I don't look up to that nikka. And y is it sad? That nikka has the same 24 hours as all of us... He went from living with his moms being broke to owning homes, having nice cars and living his life freely. Rap excluded. U have to respect him.

He was signed to Def Jam, got dropped... He could have gave up. But nah we hear discussing him now. You have to respect his determination. That's just how I'm cut.

you're going real hard to show Troy Ave is respected...when its clear he's not respected by his peers....

Brooklyn
Nah I'm from Brooklyn. Not Gentrified Brooklyn, real Albee Square Mall, Empire Skating Rink, can't go everywhere Brooklyn. And as such I have morals and values.

Ive known Ave, Hovain etc., I could say I don't like that nikka. Not oh I heard him on the Breakfast Club... Nah I could really say I don't like the nikka. Funny thing is I don't feel no way about them nikkas. Personally I just don't feel no way cause I'm confident in my own manhood.

I'm wasting my time writing this. But this a conflict between two Brooklyns. Joey is more that new era, hang out with white people Brooklyn. Ave is more my era. Smack DVD, bumping Dip Set, going to 42nd street with guns on you. So I understand when he say nikkas don't respect Joey. Cuz most people from my time, think he's lame.

An emcee is always gonna want the respect of his environment he grew up in. Ave has that respect. I don't think he wants to play Coachella, I think he's fine at Summerjam. That's just who that man is. So in HIS WORLD, nobody gives a fukk about Joey. That shyt just don't compute to him. He's good in the hood. Every nikka has they own goals in life. I respect both of them. But just because white people fukk with your music, don't mean nikkas in BK gonna respect you. That's facts

Ave is a cornball. He's not a dude that represents the era of Brooklyn he portrays. He tries way too hard and he comes off as a herb. I'm an 80s baby born and bred in Brooklyn (the ville & the Stuy) and nothing this nikka says or does ever resonated with me. In fact it just irks me.

I'm sure Troy sold his drugs and made a rep, but he's a dime a dozen drug dealer at best. I'm from Flatbush, grew up on Bedford avenue, was round a lot of gangstas from all over Brooklyn, and never heard anyone bring up Troy Ave name once. Never. Ever. Again, I'm not saying he's a sucka, but he wasn't some known street legend like he portrays himself to be. But that doesn't bother me because all rappers do that exaggerating shyt to an extent. It's entertainment at the end of the day.
