so she using he

maybe im not looking at it right :manny: that whole hood-rap mentality been corny to me for a few years now..
No offense, but the way you think is the problem. You looking at the way people think the same way you look at the way someone dresses. This is her life. You don't look at someone's life like a style.

What style is your life.

These people have to live like this everyday. Jail, prison, hustle or starve. I'm interviewing yo the other day and yo had to stop twice to serve some addicts.

You peep her reaction when she found out her peoples was locked? Imagine where u got to be mentally to where ur peeps gettin locked is regular shyt. Think about it, If u found out one of ur so called friends was arrested how would u react to hearing the news? "Arrested! FOR WHAT?!!!!??? Did he do it????"

Seeing mentalities like this should make u want to save some lives. That is if u consider them ur people.

nah i dont buy that. im from the hood too and i have seen plenty of people rise above fukked up situations instead of settling in and saying :manny: fukkit ill just be the realest in the gutter. i know some pretty mean dudes who have done some pretty fukked up shyt and been thru fukked up shyt and they dont sit on a stoop offering up stories like they talking about glory days. only cornballs do that. if she was really pained about any of that shyt she wouldnt wanna talk about it so openly, just like a soldier back from war doesnt want to talk about what happened over there.

those are my people but too many of them enjoy being thugs in the hood and wear that shyt like a badge of honor.

you would be doing your people a better service and saving more lives if you interviewed positive role models FROM the hood.

BUT, nobody would watch it because that dude from the hood that stayed out the street and became a lawyer or doctor is "lame" and his stories arent entertaining.

i want to save lives that want to be saved.

What stories of the glory days did u hear her tell? She was out doin her thing and Bink rode around and scooped her. I asked them to tell their stories. They ain't ask me. She wasn't bragging at all. Bink was reppin but I already said what that was about. U looking at this thru foggy lens.

She ain't even been on the music tip like that, I'm the one that decided to set this up on this music angle after I was looking thru the footage. She is giving u a glimpse into the life of the people u don't hear from outside of the newspaper when they are reporting a shooting.

The things u are saying contradict u saying u consider her ur peoples.

Maybe You should make it a little longer and get seperate perspectives from the 2... I get what you are saying, I wanted to appreciate her story and rock with it. but it was kind like watching 2 emcees fight for a mic and neither one of them gets a full 16 off.
I took ur advice last night and it came out much better. Thanks. I'll post videos in a few days. It was awkward for me at first because I interveiewed them this time and I'm not really a talker I got comfortable after awhile tho and it came out really nice.
