One of those games I got myself real hyped for, but wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

Seemed unfinished in parts but I still found it enjoyable. Also got a bit weird when you started having gunfights with those ghost/demon things.

The only thing I remember about it was having to drive from point A to point B and it taking like 3 hours. Driving in that game was like driving in real LA traffic, terrible

I actually liked this game, it wasnt touching gta 3 or vice city but it was still fun responding to random crimes

Yeah, that was whack IMO

I liked how you could customise you're weapons though, it was quite in depth.

Ultimately Streets Of NY was better I think.

It was ok. The best thing about it was the fighting imo. They nailed that, but everything else was subpar.

Might as well consider Sleeping Dogs the true successor to the series.

My Christmas present along with Max Payne 2 back in 2003.

The True Crime games were good but could have been better had they not rushed them to get it out, so many bugs in both games makes them unbearable to play at times. This could have competed with GTA since it was basically what people have been wanting, and GTA like game where you play an officer. Saints Row could have been better too had they just kept it Gangsta and improved the gameplay.
