My Christmas present along with Max Payne 2 back in 2003.:blessed:

The True Crime games were good but could have been better had they not rushed them to get it out, so many bugs in both games makes them unbearable to play at times. This could have competed with GTA since it was basically what people have been wanting, and GTA like game where you play an officer. Saints Row could have been better too had they just kept it Gangsta and improved the gameplay.

True Crime Streets of LA is so broken that I tried to revisit it a year or so ago and could NOT function. I couldn't drive, shoot, fight on foot, nothing. :trash: I never realized how horrid those controls were back in the day. Glad Sleeping Dogs got it mostly right almost a decade later. As for Saint's Row...:manny: I really loved the feel of the first one but they decided to turn up the craziness to 11 and build a whole game around what people used to do in GTA when they got tired of playing the story. It's worked aight enough for the most parts and they been killing it with the Cameos (:salute: Rowdy Pipes Rest in Power) and what's not but I hope the next iteration of Saint's Row gives us a new map, man. They stay reusing the same maps in consecutive launches on some lazy bullshyt.

I had it but I really don't remember anything about it lol. Saints Row 2 is probably still my favorite sandbox style game.

Streets of LA was good but i fukked heavy with True Crime NYC, even though that game was a buggy mess.

I used to spend hours roaming the city, answering the police dispatch and arresting perps. Loved that shyt :myman:

The only thing I remember about it was having to drive from point A to point B and it taking like 3 hours. Driving in that game was like driving in real LA traffic, terrible :heh:
Plus walking was slow af and the fights took forever.
