that's all fine and great but there are a significant lack of "so far" in the armchair reviews given here on either side of the coin. there is no standard to hold the show to and that's the point.

let's discuss the below comment...we're not going to even take into account the fact we have no idea how these characters are going to develop.
from what you know about the 3 main cops of this season, i want you to name a Television cop who's story mirrors one of theirs.

Also, for some reason I keep thinking that dude's scars and PTSD-tendencies aren't combat related but instead his squad found out he was gay, fukked him up real bad on some military hazing shyt (but worse, because black ops mercs) and that's why he's so fukked up and repressed. I dunno, I'm pretty much making this up because I don't want to believe it would be so straight forward as they're making it seem.

I had the same reaction, breh.
His theory was that they basically made Casper's body unidentifiable (taking his eyes out, shooting his junk off, scraping his finger prints off). They only ID'ed him because they found his wallet on him. In terms of the show context, I guess that COULD happen but I don't think it will. I was arguing with him about dental records and someone being able to identify him from the photo on the ID
Interesting. I am thinking he participated in a gang rape of Iraqi women or some shyt, to prove he wasn't gay. Something messed up happened. Even his girl alluded to that.

lol not directing this at anyone, but how anyone is mystified about the gay angle, or the strong possibility therof is beyond me....it's all right there in episode 1. Strongly implied by the bathroom/viagra scene. The show is just laying everything on so strong, it's approaching a very well made (in terms of production values, music) dark, noir parody.
That 'The Only Thing Worth Fighting For' is dope as fukk though, and I have been playing that constantly.

Rewatching the ep its a good season but such a fallback from last 
the writing aint seein season 1 im sorry the acting too.................Woody and Matthew were on they GOAT shyt now we got Vince Vaughn opening monologues u tryin not to change the channel for this biker dude is an interesting character but the actor cant pull it off IMO he should be much better portrayed than he is so far. Rachel just there so far, Colins killin it fa sho doe but some of those lines

Much better episode than the 1st, would've been shocked by the ending if I didn't spoil it for myself by coming here I know it's hbo but this season has started kind of slow and the one character with legs played by the biggest star the show has you kill just as he is finding his feet? 
seeming more like the show is Vince Vaughn's vehicle to shine and quiet the haters which is a shame I came on board hoping to see another side to Taylor and Rachel who haven't surprised me at all.
